Keresley Grange School: Consultation on Proposed Physical Expansion

I am writing to inform you of an exciting development at Keresley Grange Primary School. Funding has been secured and agreement reached to expand the school from 1.5 to 2 form entry.

This proposed expansion reflects the increasing demand for school places in our area and supports our commitment to ensuring that all local children can access high‑quality education within their community.

Keresley Grange Primary School currently admits 45 pupils per year group. Under this proposal, the school would increase to 60 pupils per year group, with the additional accommodation and facilities required to support this larger intake.

Please note: This consultation relates solely to the proposed physical expansion of the school. It does not include any changes to the Published Admission Number (PAN).

What the expansion includes

The project includes the creation of additional teaching spaces and improvements to the school site. The expansion will provide:

  • Additional classrooms
  • Improved learning environments for all pupils
  • Enhanced facilities to meet curriculum needs
  • Greater capacity to meet local demand for school places

Planned Physical Works

To enable the proposed increase from 1.5 form entry to 2 form entry, the school will undergo a programme of significant physical development. This will include the construction of a new building to provide additional classrooms and facilities, ensuring sufficient space for the larger pupil numbers. Alongside this, key areas within the existing school will be remodelled to create a modern, functional environment that supports high-quality teaching and learning.

Physical works are scheduled to begin in 2026.

School-Based Nursery Provision

As part of this project, we aim to introduce a school-based nursery provision on site. This provision will offer high-quality early years education and care, creating a seamless pathway for children from nursery through to primary education. The inclusion of a nursery will strengthen our commitment to supporting families and meeting the needs of our local community.

Have Your Say

We are keen to hear your views on this proposal. Your feedback will help us shape the provision to best meet the needs of families in our area.

You can share your views by submitting feedback to expansion@keresleygrange.coventry.sch.uk

The consultation will remain open until Friday 13th March 2026.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to working together to enhance early years opportunities for our community.
