Head of Financial Reporting
Sharon Jeromson is the Commerce and Risk Manager at The Futures Trust, where she drives a culture of risk management to benefit the Trust.
Sharon is a part‑qualified accountant with advanced professional development in the education and finance sectors. She holds certifications in Schools Business Management (CSBM), Financial Reporting for Academies (CIPFA), and Learning and Development Practice, and is an active member of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL).
Before joining The Futures Trust, Sharon gained extensive experience at the Local Authority, where she played a key role in budget setting, financial monitoring, and strategic financial planning.
At The Futures Trust, Sharon leads on financial reporting across the Trust and provides comprehensive budget oversight for all schools. Her responsibilities include strategic financial planning, management reporting, and financial analysis to support effective decision‑making. Sharon works closely with Executive and Director‑level colleagues to facilitate Trust growth and support risk management.
Her achievements include successfully leading the Trust through GDPR compliance, implementing a contract management system, and strengthening the Trust’s Risk Register.
