Consultation on Proposed Enhanced Resource Provision at Keresley Newland Primary School

We are seeking views on a proposal to establish an Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) at Keresley Newland Primary School

Proposal

The Futures Trust Board of Trustees and the Local Governing Committee, in partnership with the Local Authority, are proposing to establish an Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) at Keresley Newland Primary Academy.

What is an Enhanced Resource Provision?

An ERP is a specialist provision within a mainstream school that supports pupils with specific additional needs. It enables children to access tailored support while remaining part of the wider school community. The provision is staffed by trained professionals and designed to meet the needs of pupils.

Why is this proposal being made?

The proposal responds to increasing demand for specialist provision in the local area and reflects the Trust’s commitment to inclusive education. The ERP would enhance the school’s ability to meet the needs of all learners, particularly those requiring additional support.

What impact will this have on the education of children currently at the school?

The ERP will be integrated into the school in a way that complements existing provision. It will not reduce resources or opportunities for current pupils. Instead, it will enrich the school’s inclusive ethos and provide additional expertise and support that benefits the whole school community.

Consultation Period

The consultation will run from 16.10.2025 to 13.11.2025 for a period of 4 weeks.

You are invited to share your views by emailing the school at office@knpa.warwickshire.sch.uk before the consultation closes on 13.11.2025.
